Government of India Instructions Regarding Rs.500/- and Rs.1000/-

All Post Offices including BOs in circle will not have any Financial transactions including MPCM/PRS reservation and SB etc on 9th November 2016. ATM will also be closed on 9th November. However delivery of all mails will be done except COD/VP/MO.

Notice of this should be displayed at all post offices.

All the ATMs will be shut down immediately for one day on 09.11.2016. All the currencies of 500/- and 1000/- denomination will be withdrawan from cash tray of the ATMs and Rs.100/- and 50/- denomination loaded in ATMs.
