Airtel has launched two new plans for its prepaid users, which offer free voice calling and data benefits. 

Airtel’s new prepaid plans are available in Rs 145 and Rs 345 denominations. The Rs 145 plan offers you unlimited free calls to any Airtel number across the country and 300MB of 4G data for 28 days. The Rs 345 plan offers unlimited local and STD calls to any network and 1GB of 4G data for 28 days. Both plans also offer 50MB data to users with basic mobile phones.

Airtel’s new plans look like its attempt to retain user base and market share, which reports are suggesting that it could be hurt because of Reliance Jio’s Happy New Year offer valid till March 31st, 2017.
